Welcome to the website of the Indonesian Group of Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), which has recently been launched. We trust that this site will prove to be a valuable resource in responding to any queries you may have in relation to intellectual property in Indonesia and presenting an overview of the organization’s primary objectives.
AIPPI, with its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland is the world’s leading non-government organization for research into, and formulation of policy for, the law relating to protection of intellectual property, i.e.
- Patents
- Trademarks
- Copyrights, computer software, and integrated circuits
- Plant varieties
- Appellation of origin, geographic name
- Models and designs
- Unfair competition
AIPPI also unities practitioners, academics and intellectual property owners.
The Indonesian Group, which was officially established on 27 August 1998, under Prof. Dr. Toeti Heraty Noerhadi-Roosseno, one of the Founders is striving to achieve the same objectives in Indonesia as those of AIPPI worldwide.
While the Indonesian Government has taken several steps to enhance intellectual property protection in Indonesia, there is still a considerable amount of work to be done.
Please visit the links below for more information on the Indonesian Group.
We hope your visit to this site was informative and enjoyable.
